I build the backend that enterprises trust.

ROLE — Backend developer — took over ownership of both systems after two other developers had already worked on them.

PROBLEM — AMS (Alarm Management System) and WMS (Work Management System) were built years earlier by intern students on a custom in-house CMS, starting on PHP 4. By the time I took over, both were running huge volumes of production data in a legacy format, with no documentation.

BUILD — Fixed a large backlog of bugs, shipped new features on both systems, and led the migration from PHP 4 to PHP 7 — the hardest part, done without original documentation while the systems stayed live for a renewable energy operator running wind farms worldwide.

RESULT — Both systems modernized and stabilized in production — part of a seven-year continuous engagement with the client, the kind of sustained trust that doesn't happen without reliable delivery.

ROLE — Founder & Technical Director — full ownership of architecture, development, and infrastructure.

PROBLEM — A product-category-first website wasn't converting B2B buyers, and the site had zero search indexing across its three languages.

BUILD — Rebuilt copyus.es as a trilingual (Catalan/Spanish/English) Laravel + Blade platform repositioned around B2B use cases; resolved indexing issues with hreflang, JSON-LD, canonical tags and dynamic sitemaps in all three languages; built WooCommerce stores including a Spain-market dropshipping operation; developed a custom WordPress/WooCommerce plugin that batch-translates supplier product data via the Google Cloud Translation API with fallback and error recovery.

RESULT — A live trilingual B2B platform with full search indexing restored and an automated multilingual catalog pipeline running in production.

ROLE — Backend developer across a portfolio of education-sector applications — mostly Java, including several microservices — plus unrelated client projects in WordPress and Laravel.

PROBLEM — Territorial services, resource cataloging, and school administration needed dedicated backend systems, several gated behind the region's LDAP network (XTEC) — alongside separate client needs for e-commerce and production management.

BUILD — Contributed to MeRLi, an educational resource catalog; APLI_SSTT, a territorial-services portal governing every education center in Catalonia (LDAP-gated); and GESISA, an education management system for an arts school handling enrollment, admissions, and certificates — most of this built in Java, including a handful of microservices. Alongside the education work, built a WordPress campaign site for DIA's product catalog and a production and inventory management system in Laravel/AngularJS for children's fashion brand Tuctuc.

RESULT — Multiple production systems still relied on region-wide by Catalonia's public education network, plus shipped e-commerce and production-management systems for other clients in the same period.

ROLE — Full-stack development.

PROBLEM — Spanish freelancers and expatriates need legally valid, VeriFactu-compliant invoices without wrestling with tax rules themselves.

BUILD — Built an invoicing platform that computes VAT and income-tax withholding automatically, handles cryptographic sealing and submission to the Spanish tax authority (AEAT), and issues invoices with official verification QR codes — with a bilingual Spanish/English interface for expat users.

RESULT — A production SaaS product handling real tax-authority submissions, EU-hosted with GDPR-compliant, end-to-end encrypted data.

ROLE — Web platform development for a multi-club community initiative.

PROBLEM — Cricket clubs across Catalonia needed a shared platform to organize clubs, coordinate youth academies, and give the sport a public presence in the region.

BUILD — Built the web platform behind cricket.cat, structured around individual clubs and city-based academies (including Badalona and L'Hospitalet), supporting youth programs for ages 6 to 18.

RESULT — A living community platform run collaboratively by several clubs, with a public presence across multiple Catalan cities and dedicated youth academy programs.

ROLE — Backend developer — joined mid-project as a replacement for a Java developer who had left, and completed the in-progress work for both clients.

PROBLEM — Two client projects were left unfinished when the previous developer departed: a clinical data-visualization tool for Neuroelectrics' Starstim device, and a membership and donation-management backend for the nonprofit FundacioLar.

BUILD — Completed the Starstim backend, which receives data from the device and visualizes it for the clinical professionals using it, and completed FundacioLar's backend, which lets the organization manage its members, track donor information, and control payments.

RESULT — Both systems delivered and handed over in production use — for a medical-device manufacturer and a nonprofit foundation respectively.
